The Chihuahuan Desert Education Coalition (CDEC) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization based in El Paso, Texas. Since 2004 CDEC volunteers have been helping people connect with and value the natural wonders of the Chihuahuan Desert. In February of 2022 we met in the Big Bend National Park area for a retreat where we reaffirmed our commitment to the conservation of this ecoregion with our vision and mission statements and a list of our core values.
