Thanks everyone that followed us on Facebook for the Spanish broadcast. We had a blast, all the presenters were super! Interesting topics, lovely places and engaging activities. All of them an inspiration for the Chihuahuan Desert conservation.
If you missed it, here are a few highlights of the talk, but you can still go watch the Facebook live.
We had a wonderful moderator, Biol. Wendy Coronado from La Rodadora, an interactive museum in Ciudad Juarez. Behind the scene we had M.en C. Alberto García, who kindly helped with everything.

Next we had Sebastian Ribas, form El Paso Museum of Archeology. I was not aware we had such a wonderful place in El Paso, and entrance is free! Go check them out and give them some love. They have some fun activities coming soon, well they always have nice activities.
Up next we had Diana Moy, she is a lovely lady, doing some great work to ensure conservation from the Chihuahuan desert. Have you been to the Franklin Mountains?? Well this lady for sure knows her stuff, make sure you listen to her talk and get some ideas on what to do in the Franklins.

Veronica Perez from Dirty Girl Compost, is for sure doing some great work to conserve our desert. This lady loves to get dirty, dig some dirt and turn our vegetable-waste into wonderfully-smelling-dirt-gold.

Heather Rivera is an educator from El Paso Zoo, she has a dream-job. You know, talking all day about animals, and caring for them. If you come to el Paso Zoo you will see her in action. Here at the Facebook live she gave us an idea of her job.

Danna Cadena with native bees was a wonderful addition to this FB live. She know all there is to know about native bees, she gave us some awesome insights and tips to help our bees, she even had some specimens to show. If you are curious go to the FB live and listen to her!!

Oscar Arriaga, he is the guy at the zoo!! You know, like he is in charge of every event at the zoo. Neat!! There is planning, and a lot of planning behind every event at the El Paso Zoo, and he knows how to do it. It is great to hear his talk, and learn about all the planning and many events at the zoo.

Sergio Samaniego from Rio Bosque Wetlands Park told us all about the old river. Did you know that the Rio Grande was not a straight line, as we have it now? Well, you can come to this wonderfull place that Sergio is restoring along with its team, and learn all about this project. It looks like a great place for bird-watchers or in general for nature-lovers.

Last but not least, Ethel Tsokanis from La Rodadora, she is the veterinarian in charge of all the animals at La Rodadora, La Rodadora is a museum in Ciudad Juarez, is a lovely place to take your kids, or come by yourself and enjoy as a kid.

Well, we really had a lot of interesting presenters. We learned a lot about opportunities and activities in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez to engage in conservation. We hope to see you all next year!
